Lost cPanel password

Because your cPanel password is encrypted when it is stored, we are not able to retrieve it for you. If you have lost your password, you will need to reset it using the cPanel reset password feature.

To do this, follow these three steps:

1) Visit http://exampledomain.co.nz/cpanel (where "exampledomain.co.nz" is your domain name)

2) Click 'Reset password' and then enter your username into the "Username" box on the following screen. An email will then be sent to your cPanel contact address automatically with a link to reset your password.

3) IMPORTANT: Once you've reset the password, log in to your cPanel immediately and use the 'Change Password' option to change the password a final time. If you do not do this, you may have difficulty using some services such as FTP, as the password reset feature is only intended to get you back into cPanel and doesn't synchronise all of your account passwords.

Our tip: During the password reset process, the system sends an email to the contact address you've set in cPanel. If you have not set a contact address, you will not receive this information. In that case, please contact us and we will set up your cPanel contact address.
