So how did we get here?

It has been quite the journey! MyHost was established in 2000 as a no fuss, one stop shop for website hosting and domains. It was about finding the right mix of affordable and reliable.

In 2009 we became part of SiteTech Group who are the largest NZ-owned hosting provider (and home to other NZ hosting providers like SiteHost), and we still are part of them today. SiteTech Group promised to keep MyHost in NZ and to keep improving and delivering customers with affordable web hosting, without compromise.

Ever since we have been delivering on that promise. With the hosting industry growing and rapidly changing we decided it was time to expand. That’s why in 2017 SiteTech Group acquired WebSliceNZ.

By joining forces with WebSliceNZ in 2021 we were able to bring together the 21 years’ experience, trust and cost-consciousness of MyHost and the brilliant track record and wider range of hosting options from WebSliceNZ.

Now, we know change can be scary but you don’t have to worry. Whether you’ve been a MyHost or WebSliceNZ customer in the past we are still the same support team and business you know and love. It just made sense to combine the two, to allow us to bring you one awesome, reliable and affordable hosting service that you can trust.

While a lot has changed over the past 21 years, we continued to and will continue to keep one thing constant - supporting and providing you with the best hosting solutions.
