cPanel license prices are increasing, again

Yet again, cPanel's owners WebPros are increasing license costs for cPanel.

It’s far from the first time we’ve brought you news like this; WebPros have raised cPanel licensing costs every year since 2019.

Unfortunately, when our costs go up we have to reluctantly pass on the higher prices.

There’s no change to packages that include cPanel access, like Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting or Email Hosting.

The below prices only affect you if you’re paying for cPanel licenses directly.

New cPanel prices for 2027

Depending on your cPanel product, license prices are increasing by 10.5-25%. These new license prices will take effect in January 2027.

A pattern of price rises

Since taking over cPanel, WebPros has reliably raised license prices every year. They did it last year, the year before that, and the year before that. We don’t expect this pattern to change any time soon.

WebPros knows that cPanel is familiar and hard to replace. Since 2019 they’ve been relying on everyone choosing to keep paying higher prices, rather than leave cPanel behind. There’s nothing to indicate that they’ll change their pricing strategy any time soon.

There are other options

If annual price hikes are enough to make you question whether cPanel is still your best option, we understand.
