If you’ve started hosting websites for multiple clients, you’ll likely be familiar with Reseller Hosting.

If you’re new to Reseller Hosting, you can think of it as a way to offer hosting services to your customers without investing in your own hardware or data centres. As a reseller you can purchase a specific amount of server space, then divide those resources into smaller packages to offer your clients.

Previously at MyHost, we’d been offering two Reseller Hosting options. We thought we could be more flexible, so we are now offering four different packages.

Grow your business as a Professional Reseller

Our “traditional” reselling options still begin at $44.95/mo, which we’re calling Professional Reseller - 1. It comes with 15 cPanel Accounts, and we’ve increased the disk space 3x—from 10GB to 30GB—giving you more flexibility to grow your business and work with your clients as you see fit.

If you know you’re going to need more disk space or cPanel accounts, we’re now offering two new higher tiers with significantly more of both.

The next step up is Professional Reseller - 2, which offers 70GB disk space with 40 domains, at $99.95/mo.

Our highest tier is Professional Reseller - 3, with a massive 150GB disk space and cPanel accounts for 80 domains, at $179.95/mo.

The new Professional Reseller options give you space to grow larger businesses, and the flexibility to scale up as your client base expands.

As always, you can divide the resources as you see fit. You know your clients' websites better than anyone, and extra storage gives you more room to get the right balance between resources and pricing.

Our new developer-focused option

We’ve also introduced another, cheaper, option—Reseller Developer. We’ve priced it at $29.95/mo, and offer 30GB disk space (the same as the smallest Professional Reseller package), but with one big caveat.

Rather than provide you with one cPanel account per domain, we’re instead offering an Addon Domains solution to run up to 15 websites through one cPanel account. This helps keep costs down but it’s important to note that, unlike our Professional Reseller packages, this isn’t designed for traditional resellers.

When we named it Reseller Developer, we meant it. It’s designed for people who are comfortable with the idea of running multiple sites from one directory. That comes with extra responsibility. For instance, a potential security vulnerability could be shared across all sites—as a Reseller Developer you'll need to be ready for that.

And in this scenario, only one user (you) would be able to access cPanel, otherwise you’d be granting customers global access to all the sites.

Ideally, the Reseller Developer package is a suitable option if you own all the websites yourself, or your clients are completely hands-off, and would never want to see a control panel.

Our traditional reselling options still start at the same $44.95/mo price, but we’ve increased the lowest storage options from 10GB to 30GB. We’ve also added two bigger options in case you know you’ll need more storage capacity or cPanel Accounts.

If you’re a developer wanting multiple sites, rather than a traditional reseller, then the new Reseller Developer option offers a cheaper entry point with 15 Addon Domains.
